ReplyDeleteHi Ryan
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if I could omit the pecans, will the cake still taste the same.
Hi Jackie, I think it would be fine to omit the nuts. The pecans add more texture and crunch than anything, and most of the flavor comes from the peaches, and the almond and vanilla extracts. I think its fine to leave them out and, I might do the same if I were bringing this to a large group where I had to worry about nut allergies. Thanks for the comment and I'd love to hear how it goes if you end up making it!
